Network Security Analyst

Airswift is seeking a Network Security Analyst to join our client s Cybersecurity team. This is an onsite role
based in Calgary, focused on protecting the organization from security threats through the management of
network firewalls and access control systems. The successful candidate will work across departments to
implement and sustain network security controls, troubleshoot incidents, and support core security
technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Sustain and manage Network Access Control (NAC) tools and processes
Sustain and manage network firewalls
Perform troubleshooting and incident response using a variety of tools and methods
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, with the ability to move between abstract concepts and detailed design

Skills & Qualifications
10 years of technical experience in enterprise environments with a University degree or technical diploma in an applicable field
Certifications such as CISSP or SANS are an asset
Detailed knowledge and experience with enterprise network firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
Detailed knowledge and experience with enterprise Network Access Control (Forescout CounterACT preferred)
Experience with core security technologies such as firewalls, EDR, and vulnerability scanning
Ability to investigate and evaluate network traffic, read and interpret logs and packet captures
Strong understanding of fundamental network and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, PKI, SSH)
Additional experience in databases, automation, operational technology (ICS/SCADA/DCS), data science, and cloud services is an asset
Scripting and/or programming skills

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with on-call rotation
